This blog that blog the other blog... but who am I???

I am a painter, blessed to be a wife to a fabulous guy & a mommy to 6 lovely kiddos (C-24, M-16, M-16, E-14, T-12, W-11) and we have our tiny one in heaven. I am my Beloveds and He is mine. I love to paint "en plein air" - French for "in open air" I enjoy painting outside and "alla prima" like the French Impressionists did. When I can I enjoy cooking really good food. Our family tries to eat clean and live frugally. My kids have always loved their vegetables and fruits. I have liked "digging in the dirt" as long as I can remember and get that itch every spring, summer, fall and again about mid-winter.

I keep a veggie garden of raised beds, earthboxes and various containers. I also tend small blackberry, raspberry and blueberry patches plus a little herb garden. I also keep a meyer lemon and a lime tree. Plus now I have assorted Chickens too!

I really want my own sunroom/greenhouse ... plus a little fruit tree grove with fabulous flowers everywhere! ~ wait, did I mention the potting shed and grape arbor? :) Then, in my spring/summer & fall free time, I will sit outside and paint the beauty of it all! :) In the winter I want to be able to sit in the sunroom/greenhouse and paint the views from there!
