and then we ate them...


A couple of baby beans (purple and green)
and yummy radishes!

Surprising to me, we are seeing the fruits (or veggies) of our labors already. No, I did not weigh them, I need a kitchen scale for that... hmm. anyway... we rinsed them off and gobbled them up. Sweet!

I have a whole batch of radishes ready to come up out of the ground.

We should be able to pick and cook some green or purple or jacob's cattle beans later this week.

I am watching the potatoes grow up, up and away. We planted in a garbage can and those babies have grown 24" above that. I will probably be able to put in a fall planting of potatoes soon. I hope I can do that, I have a couple of blue potatoes that went to seed I want to try!
